1. Who we are
upfrontplan ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Amr Hamdy, an individual sole proprietor based in Egypt, trading as upfrontplan. You can reach us anytime at support@upfrontplan.com.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the upfrontplan website at upfrontplan.com and the upfrontplan web application at app.upfrontplan.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What upfrontplan is, and what it is not
upfrontplan is a software planning tool for installment plans. Sellers can author flexible payment plans and share them. Buyers can privately check whether a plan fits their month-by-month cash flow, request changes, and record an agreed schedule.
upfrontplan is not a lender. It is not a bank, a financing company, a payment processor, a money transmitter, a debt collector, a credit bureau, or a "buy now, pay later" provider. The Service never lends, holds, transfers, or collects money between buyers and sellers, and it performs no credit scoring.
Any installment or financing agreement is strictly between the buyer and the seller. upfrontplan is not a party to that agreement, does not guarantee that either side will honor it, and has no role in enforcing it. Verdicts, schedules, totals, and every other figure the Service produces are informational planning estimates based on the numbers you enter. They are not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.
The Service is self-serve software only, comparable to a budgeting or affordability calculator. Every output is an automated calculation. No person reviews your numbers or your situation, and there is no human-delivered service of any kind in the product.
3. Your account
You sign in with your mobile phone number and a one-time code sent by SMS. You agree to:
- provide accurate information, including a phone number you control,
- keep your device and phone number secure, since anyone holding them can access your account,
- be at least 18 years old, and
- use your account for yourself only.
4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles checkout, payment collection, and applicable taxes. Your card details go to Paddle and are never seen or stored by upfrontplan.
The Service offers two paid subscriptions, billed in US dollars:
- Solo buyer: $3.99 per month or $29 per year.
- Seller: $14 per month or $120 per year.
Each subscription starts with a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial, and the first charge happens when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the subscription page inside the app, and cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you already paid for. Taxes may apply depending on your location and are shown by Paddle at checkout.
If a subscription lapses, paid features are hidden but nothing is deleted. Your data stays until you delete it, and deleting is never blocked by a subscription. We may change prices with advance notice, and a change takes effect from your next renewal. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.
5. Invited buyers pay nothing
A buyer invited by a seller uses that seller's shared plans for free, with no trial and no card. That access is funded by the seller's subscription and lasts as long as the seller keeps the plan.
6. Your content and plan records
You own the data you enter into the Service. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, and display that data in order to run the Service, including showing plan content to the specific people you deliberately share it with. A buyer's private planning numbers are never shown to sellers, as described in our Privacy Policy.
When a buyer and a seller both confirm the same plan option, the Service records a committed snapshot of that schedule for both parties. Committed records cannot be edited by either side. If one party later deletes their account, the other party keeps their copy of the record with the departed party shown as a neutral label.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent,
- misrepresent who you are to buyers or sellers,
- abuse invites, SMS delivery, or rate limits, including inviting people who have not agreed to hear from you,
- probe, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or other people's accounts, or
- use the Service to harass or harm anyone.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
8. Third-party services
Billing is provided by Paddle under its own terms, which you accept at checkout. SMS delivery depends on telecom networks we do not control. We are not responsible for failures of third-party networks or services, though we choose and monitor our providers with care.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Planning outputs depend entirely on the numbers you enter. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for decisions you or anyone else makes based on the Service's outputs, including decisions to enter, refuse, or enforce any installment agreement. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Ending your use
You can delete individual plans or your whole account at any time from inside the app, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination do survive it.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give notice inside the Service before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Egyptian courts. Your purchase through Paddle is additionally governed by Paddle's own buyer terms, presented at checkout.
