A planning tool, not a lender

Know the installment plan fits. Before you sign.

upfrontplan checks any installment plan against your real month-by-month cash flow: a private verdict in green, amber, or red, the tight months named, and a concrete path to yes.

14-day free trial in the app. Cancel anytime. Invited buyers never pay.

The upfrontplan app: a laptop plan with a green verdict and a live month-by-month schedule
  • Moves no money Not a loan, not buy-now-pay-later. The agreement stays between you and your seller.
  • No bank linking You type a few numbers you already know. Nothing connects to your accounts.
  • Private by design The seller never sees your income, your verdict, or your progress.
  • Made for real installments Bulk months, down payments, escalation, uneven schedules: modeled the way plans are actually offered.
Plan on your own

Start solo. No seller in the loop.

Your own private plans, tested with the full engine and tracked to the last installment. This is the Solo buyer subscription.

Your own plan

Model the purchase before any shop is involved.

Create a private plan with the price you have in mind and what you can set aside each month. The whole term gets a verdict, and when it is not green, verified fixes show exactly which lever turns it.

  • One number to start, full money rules when you want them
  • Struggle months named, recoverable or terminal diagnosed
  • Every fix is checked to actually turn the verdict green

After you lock it in

The plan stays alive, month after month.

Mark installments paid, log a surprise expense, and the engine re-checks the months ahead. If a month drifts toward risk you hear about it weeks early, with honest ways back.

  • Drift alerts, never payment reminders
  • A runway in weeks, not a guilt trip
  • Recovery changes your saving, not the plan

When a seller is involved

The two-sided version.

A seller authors the plan and invites one buyer. Everything the buyer does stays private and free, funded by the seller's subscription.

For sellers

Author a flexible offer in the flow of a sale.

Build the plan at the counter: base installment, bulk months, escalation, down payments. Offer two or three variants of the same purchase and let the buyer pick what actually fits.

  • Live schedules that re-flow as you type
  • Templates make the next plan a clone away
  • Your logo and name, no watermark

For invited buyers

Enter one number. Every option gets a verdict.

A seller shares their plan, you enter what you can set aside each month, and every payment option is scored green, amber, or red across the whole term. The tight months are named, not buried in a chart.

  • Every variant scored from the same private numbers
  • Nothing you enter ever reaches the seller
  • Free for the invited buyer, funded by the seller

Nothing to sign up for. Your seller sends you a link, and everything you do with it is free.

Negotiation

A counter-proposal carries the ask. Never the numbers.

The buyer asks for a change in structured terms, like "make month 3 smaller". You see the request and who sent it. When both sides confirm the same option, the schedule locks and a branded PDF records it.

  • A dashboard of statuses, never of finances
  • Commit locks a schedule neither side can quietly edit
  • A PDF agreement and Excel export

The privacy boundary

The seller sees the ask. Never your numbers.

Everything a buyer enters stays on the buyer's side of the table, enforced in the data layer itself and tested on every release.

Never reaches the seller
  • Your income and expenses
  • Your verdict and risk
  • Your payment progress
  • That you even ran a check

What crosses: your identity on the plan, the status, and any structured request you send.

Who is behind this

I built upfrontplan because I watched people sign installment plans they could not actually carry, and nobody could tell them in advance. The tool does one thing: it checks the plan against your real month-by-month money before you commit to it. It moves no money and it is not a lender. If something here does not work, or the answer you get looks wrong, write to me directly.

Questions

Plain answers.

Is upfrontplan a loan, financing, or buy-now-pay-later?

No. upfrontplan is a planning tool. It never lends, holds, or collects money, and it does no credit scoring. It checks whether a specific installment plan fits a buyer's cash flow, and helps both sides agree on one that does. Any actual financing agreement is strictly between buyer and seller.

What exactly does the seller see about me?

Your identity on the plan, the status of the negotiation, and any structured request you send, like "make month 3 smaller". Never your income, expenses, verdict, risk, or payment progress. That boundary is enforced in the product's data layer and tested on every release.

How does the verdict work?

The engine carries your running balance month by month across the whole term: what comes in, what the plan demands, what is left. A month is green when it clears with your safety cushion intact, amber when the cushion runs thin, and red when the installment cannot be covered. Any non-green verdict comes with a concrete path to yes.

I was invited by a seller. What do I pay?

Nothing, ever. Evaluating, counter-proposing, committing, and tracking are all free for the invited buyer, with no trial and no card. The seller's subscription funds it.

What happens when I cancel, or my subscription lapses?

Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the paid period. A lapse hides paid features but never deletes anything: your data stays until you delete it, and deleting is never blocked by a subscription.

Why is the subscription billed in USD?

Subscriptions are handled by Paddle, our payment provider, which bills in USD. Plan amounts inside the product stay in EGP. Your card details go to Paddle, never to upfrontplan.

Is the app available in Arabic?

The app launches in English first. Arabic is a firm commitment on the roadmap, and the product is built ready for it from day one.
